I have known Scot since 2003, and have worked many remodel as well as complex service and repair issues under Scot’s direction. Scot has consistently maintained the interactive balance between keeping costs under control while keeping tenants satisfied. When I do a project for Scot I receive clear instructions, good communications, and intelligent answers to my questions.
I have seen Scot in action under a tremendous amount of pressure; he reacts well and keeps a clear head. When he needs to bring in a subcontractor he does so, when he feels that more investigation is needed before action he provides it. I have worked with Scot on an impressive range of heating and cooling equipment from 50 year old steam boilers, to geothermal loop systems, to computer controlled VAV building management systems.

The ice storm of December 2008 hit my mother hard.  Three days of no electricity led to frozen water pipes and extensive water damage.  Not knowing where to begin, Scot Deckard, my mother’s neighbor, stepped in on his own accord and started the restoration process.  Scot covered it all, from getting the boiler and pipes repaired, gutting the entire downstairs, getting the proper people in to do plumbing, drywall, painting, cabinetry and every last detail you can imagine.  Scot took this project over out of pure “love thy neighbor” with no anticipated benefit to himself.   He stuck with us through the entire two month process.  The ice storm of 2008 will never be forgotten by my family nor will the kindness and unforgettable assistance Scot Deckard gave to my mother and me.  I truly would entrust him with anything……a knowledgeable man with incredibly high standards.  Thank you Scot!  Your wonderful assistance will never be forgotten!
